We have an exclusive network of established relationships which, in many cases, gives us a list of exclusive job listings not openly available in the market.

Who can apply for jobs listed on your site?

If you are talented, ambitious, have a strong background in programming, a high proficiency in English, and are willing to relocate then, we would love to hear from you.

Where are the jobs located?

We focus on employment opportunities in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. The overwhelming majority of job placements are in these three countries.

Do I need to be a citizen of the EU or live there to apply for positions listed on your site?

Absolutely not. We offer full visa support, and all of our clients are open to hiring talent from around the globe.

Who are your clients?

We work with a broad spectrum of leading start-ups and established corporates in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Does your service cost anything?

Our service is completely free for all job seekers. CheckpointDigitalSolutions does not charge any application, processing or any other fee at any stage of the recruitment process. If you encounter vacancy announcements with our name on it, requesting payments of any kind, these are fraudulent.

Who do I contact if I have specific questions not listed here, concerns, or technical problems?

Vacant Job Postings

Do I need to register to view your job listings?

No. You can browse through our listings without registering.

How often is the Vacancies page updated?

Our Vacancies page is updated on a daily basis. Please note that the availability of each position is subject to change at any time.

What does "CLOSING DATE" mean?

Several positions have a specific deadline listed on the job posting. Once that date has passed, the job will be removed from our Vacancies page.

What does "Open until filled" mean?

If the "CLOSING DATE" reads “Open until filled,” all job applications will be accepted and reviewed until the position is filled, and the vacancy may close without notice. If you are interested in a position, it is highly recommended that you apply as soon as possible upon seeing the announcement.

What does "START DATE" mean?

Earliest possible and preferred start of employment.

Applying for a Job

What is the best way for me to apply for a job?

We encourage you to use our short online application form to provide us with brief details about you including your resume/CV. We will use this information to get in touch with you to process your application in full. However, if you are unable to do so via our system, for example, because you are using assistive technologies, please email us, and we will advise you of what to do next.

Is there a limit to how many jobs I can apply?

No, you can apply for as many positions meeting your qualifications and interests as you would like. But you can only submit applications for one position at a time. After submitting your application for a job, return to the Vacancies page and select another listing of interest. As a returning applicant, the process will be more streamlined.

How do I know if you have received my application?

Once you have completed the application form, you will be taken to a page confirming receipt of your application. You will also receive a confirmation email at the address you specified in your application. If you do not receive a confirmation email, or if you get an error message, please contact us using our contact form here to report the problem.

Will I be notified if the job has been filled?

Positions remain on our Vacancies page until they are filled, or the Closing Date has passed. Unfortunately, we are not able to inform every applicant when a position is closed. You will only be notified that a position has been filled if you were interviewed for that position.

Initiative Application

What is the Initiative Application?

With your Initiative Application, you will provide us with some basic information about you and your qualifications. It will make it easier for us to match you to job opportunities that you may have missed or that may be listed between your views of our Vacancies page.

After receipt of your Initiative Application, our team will get in touch with you to discuss your specific career goals, clarify your qualifications and review all job openings that may suit your interests and skills.

Do I have to fill out all portions of the Initiative Application form even though I attached my resume/CV?

To streamline the job search, we recommend you completely fill out each section of our online Initiative Application form, even if you attach a resume/CV. The reason for this is that it provides us with all information we know to be necessary for our clients to expedite the hiring process.

How can I change my resume/CV or provide additional information to my Initiative Application that I already submitted?

If information is missing or needs to be modified or added to your Initiative Application, contact us using our contact form here.

How do I know whether my Initiative Application was received?

You will receive a confirmation email to the address you provided in your profile. This email is automatically generated and will reach you within minutes of your submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email after a few hours, check your spam or junk folder. Some email accounts read generated emails as spam and filter them out of your in-box.

ATTACHMENTS

What format should I use for my attachments?

Attachments must be in one of the following formats: Word (.doc or .docx), Joint Photographic Experts Group format (.jpg) or Portable Document Format (.pdf). Please limit your file size to 2MB and ensure that you do not upload password-protected files.

Is there a preferred method for naming my documents?

Please include your last name and the job title or job ID when naming your attachments, example: Schmidt_CV_#VAC00001. Naming files in this way will be especially helpful if you are applying for more than one job with CheckpointDigital.Solutions. Please avoid using long file names.

What is a Job Alert?

A Job Alert is an email alerting you to new job opportunities on a weekly basis.

Why should I subscribe?

Job alerts save time by allowing you to see new job opportunities in your inbox instead of manually searching for jobs.

How do I subscribe?

You can subscribe to our weekly emailed job alerts by adding your email address via the Job Alert tab here.

How frequently will I receive Job Alert emails? Will I get any spam emails?

Our weekly email alerts will be sent every Sunday evening. We are very strict with the privacy of all information we receive from our candidates and will not share your email with anyone. We will only send email alerts to you if you have signed up to receive them.

Is my personal information secure?

Yes. The only information we request is your email address. This information is used solely to deliver job alerts to you at your email address and will not be shared with any third parties.

Is there a fee to sign up for Job Alerts?

No. Job Alerts, like all services provided on our site, is a free service offered by CheckpointDigital.Solutions to help you in your search.

How do I unsubscribe?

You can cancel your email alerts at any time. Click the "UNSUBSCRIBE" button found at the end of your Job Alert email. By clicking the button, you will be taken to a page confirming that you have been unsubscribed from the emails.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

What qualifications are needed?

This is dependent upon the position you apply for and the criteria on the job specification. Your existing qualification level will be assessed in addition to your experience.

Do I need a work permit to be able to apply for a job?

Applicants for jobs based in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria do not need a valid work permit to apply for a job. We will work with you and your employer to secure a valid work permit once you have received and accepted a binding offer.

How is my application evaluated?

If your resume/CV looks like a suitable match for a current vacancy, we assess your qualifications and compare these with the requirements of the job, with the goal of finding the most appropriate candidate. Various assessment methods are used during the recruitment process, and these will vary dependent upon the position for which you have applied. The final hiring decision is reached by looking at all the available inputs: CV, references, interviews, coding samples, and assessment results.

How does the interview process work?

We conduct all of our interviews via Skype. Some employers may require personal interviews with selected candidates. We run a multi-stage process that requires you to have a series of interviews with our staff before we show your resume to our clients. The purpose of our interviews is to develop a good understanding of your personal qualities, skills, and experience as well as what motivates you.

If our client decides that your qualifications fit their needs, and you agree for us to proceed, then we will set up interviews between you and our client directly. The client or his representatives will be interested in hearing more about you as a person, as well as your professional achievements and ambitions, and how you see yourself in the role for which you have applied. We will help you prepare for these interviews in advance.

How long does the hiring process take?

Our experience shows that a typical placement takes approximately three months from start to finish, including securing the work visa process. There are instances when we receive expedited requests from our clients with placements completing in under a month.

DATA PROTECTION

What data is stored with CheckpointDigital.Solutions?

We store all data submitted by you as part of your application process, including potential assessment tests results, interview conclusions, etc.

What happens with the information I provide to you?

We keep a database of all qualified candidates for our use. This allows us to be more proactive in helping you find your next great job. We will never sell your information to third parties, and everything you provide to us remains entirely confidential. Also, we will not approach any client on your behalf without first receiving clearance from you.

Do you have a data protection procedure?

CheckpointDigital.Solutions takes all appropriate organizational and technical security measures to protect your personal data and has implemented security measures to safeguard your data. Any personal data submitted will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be used to help you find a job.

Why do you store my data?

We store your personal information to simplify the application process should you choose to apply for another job through CheckpointDigital.Solutions. By providing us with your CV or filling out our Initiative Application form, you give your explicit consent for CheckpointDigital.Solutions to store your personal data.

Will the transmission of my personal information be secure?

Yes, the transmission of your personal information online will be achieved using digitally signed certificates, ensuring secure data communication.

Can I remove my information from the system if I am no longer interested in applying for jobs with CheckpointDigital.Solutions?

Yes, you can request to be deleted from the system. Certain information related to your particular application may be retained to meet legal or records retention requirements in your country and in Germany.
